My daughter (9 years old) asked (and received) this kit for her birthday. After reading the reviews and some complaints about how messy the kit was, I was very nervous to actually do it once we got it. But, while it is a *little* messy, it’s not nearly as bad as I was expecting. The food coloring does make it MORE messy – so if you’re nervous, start with one of the recipes that doesn’t need coloring (or just skip that ingredient! At least for the first batch) She and a friend did this (with my help) and had a blast. They were so proud of their creations and even had fun trying to invent their own names for their gum. The flavor of the gum goes pretty quickly when you’re chewing it (and the jury is still out on how well it “keeps”) but I think all that is secondary to the actual fun in CREATING your own gum. They loved it.

Love it!!! so much fun
It was so much fun... My 9 yr old got it for his birthday through amazon and we just loved making the different flavors. We both like it SOUR!!! and you can make them as sweet or sour as you want. Great gift. Messy, but fun!!!
Gum Kit
I bought this for my grandchildren, ages 12 and 9. They just opened it today and made some gum under their father's supervision. According to him, they followed the directions and had no problems - and they had fun doing it.
Super Messy Fun
This kit is fun, but could be too difficult for kids under age 10. We made some gum tonight with my daughter and her friend, who are both 10. The flavor turned out good, but the whole process takes about 20-30 minutes, which is a lot longer than I expected for a few pieces of gum. Overall, it's a nice kit and is fun for kids age 10+.

Okay but spinner already breaking
Bought this for my 1 year old's birthday two weeks ago. For the price it could be made better. The cars are the most fun for my little one. The spinner is already slowing down because he put his hands into it while it was running to reach across to the back to touch the light-up arrows and play with the flags. Sometimes it works fine and others we have to push it around to get it going. We actually put the FP Roll-a-rounds in it and he likes that a lot. If it works. I will probably return it and try again. If that doesn't work it will go back permanently and I will purchase the cars seperately. The other spinners, beads and barrel roll on it do not interest him at all.

We received this GeoPuzzle yesterday and have completed it with our two year old son four times. He loves it and is already naming the countries.
We do the puzzle with a globe and the puzzle box nearby. We point to a country on the box and ask him what it is, or say what it is ourselves) and ask if he can find it. The bright colors make the pieces easy to find. (”Can you find a green country called Pakistan?”) He always finds the piece and holds it up triumphantly. Then we put the piece in together and sometimes show him where the same country is on the globe. He has a wonderful time.
An older child, or even an adult, would have a great time working on this puzzle alone. I find that I’m getting a much better grasp of geography by playing with this.
The quality is excellent. The colors are vivid and the pieces seem as though they will withstand a great deal of abuse.
We’re having so much fun with this puzzle that we’re going to buy the rest of the GeoPuzzle collection. This is a fantastic way to play and learn political geography at the same time.

Love these puzzles
I ended up with one of each puzzle for my 7 and 10 year old sons. Both have really enjoyed learning the names of all these countries and putting everything together. It's wonderful to hear them as they go through Europe, Africa, Asia... in addition to learning the names of the countries, they are also picking up the oceans and seas, which are also marked. I think it's a tremendous way to learn geographic information. I've also learned some things that I never knew.
One reviewer said that the pieces don't stay together - it is true that since they are not "puzzle shaped" they don't have as many interlocking elements as other puzzle pieces, but both of my children were able to work around that.
A minor drawback is that sometimes that are large areas of ocean in the puzzles and it can be hard to figure out where those go.
Finally, some of the pieces can be very small so be sure you don't lose them.
I've been recommending this to all our friends - it's a great learning tool.
Geopuzzle
This is a great puzzle for child or adult who wants to learn the locations of countries. Educational, fun, attractive, and sturdy enough. I have several Geopuzzles and am pleased with all of them.
Fun With Learning!
We use these puzzles in our homeschool geography study. What a fun way to become familiar with continents and countries. Each month, we study a different continent. In addition to maps, colors, books and all that goes with it, these puzzles add some great fun to our class. The kids would put it together each day and race to see if they could beat their time from the day before. The loved it! As they get more familiar with the countries and where they go, the time gets faster! The children asked us to buy them all because they liked them so much!!

pieces don't stay together
This is a great idea that is poorly executed. Because the pieces are shaped like the countries, they do not stay together the way a regular jigsaw puzzle does. This becomes very tedious for both child and adult--the puzzle comes apart every time you touch it to put in a new piece. In addition, the pieces are pretty thin--not as thick and sturdy as they should be for the price.
Very educational--it is just not very user-friendly. You will need a lot of patience with this puzzle ( and all the Geo Puzzle map puzzles).

I purchased this for our daughter just before her first birthday. She is now 15 months old and still loves playing with it. The colors of the product are depicted accurately in the picture on this page. The pig has a counting mode and a singing mode; neither are obnoxiously loud or annoying as many toddler toys can be. The pig also reacts when you push its nose by oinking or singing. The tail spins, but this does not elicit any sort of response from the toy. If you have the pig in counting mode, it will count each coin as your child drops it in. However, if your child waits a little too long, it will start the counting over at 1 even if there are coins already in the bank. It also can be set to singing mode.
It is a great toy to teach colors, counting, and hand-eye coordination (your child has to manipulate the coin and their hand in just the right way to push it through the slot). As you can see in the picture, the coins appear to come in two different sizes. The larger coins are ribbed on the edges, while the smaller ones are smooth. In person, however, the coins are not drastically different in size. Others have commented that the door to the bank is flimsy and comes off easily; it does indeed feel flimsy, but ours has so far stayed intact. In fact, my daughter has a hard time getting it open sometimes, so I’m wondering if perhaps they are manufacturing it a little better now. Overall, this toy is a fantastic buy. I highly recommend it.

My 11 months girl loves this piggy bank!
I bought this toy about month ago. It has some songs n sounds when you push a nose of the piggy bank.My girl like to dancing with the songs. After one month later, she knows how to put the coins in the toy.! It is awesome~! I can tell her how to save money in the future.
Great Except for One Thing
My daughter enjoys this toy. However, if you have nine coins in the big, the 10th one has a very hard time getting in. Seems like this is a pretty bad design flaw if you are intending for toddlers to be using it.

Love This Little Piggy!
I bought the original version of this 4 years ago for my grandson and he loved it and played with it constantly until the dogs decide to chew it. :(
When his sister came along, I purchased this newer version and she is equally having so much fun with it. At one year old, she will sit as long as 15 minutes putting the coins in, having me empty it, and then starting the task all over again. The newer version actually counts out loud as the coins are put in the slot! I really, really like this toy.
Great toy for multiple ages
Both my 4 year old and 1 year old come back and back to this toy. They enjoy feeding lots of other things through the slot or putting things inside the "cage." Also, it's not overly annoying like some kids toys with music. A great toy the kids actually keep going back to.

Sounds Like a Great Toy and Is One

Keeps her busy!
My daughter loves this toy. It's not too loud and with all the buttons she never gets bored with it. She plays with it all the time.
hours of fun for any age
My two year old nephew and my one year old have this toy and they love all the buttons and it keeps them busy and independent.
It's interesting.
I will say that it does have different types of button and switches so it teaches your child about pushing buttons, turning dials, sliding levers, etc. I just wish there was a volume control, because for me it's a little on the loud side. My 1 year old can't do all the buttons on his own, and doesn't play with it much, but maybe when he's older. There are a variety of sounds, which at least holds my interest.
Toddlers Toys
Buttons for a 1-yr old were difficult to push/turn. Wasn't very attracted to the noises it made. If he could talk he would have said..'boring'.

My daughter’s are 12 months and almost 3 years old. We previously purchased my daughter a workbench type toy but she never seemed interested in it. We purchased this as a travel toy…meaning something to take along on a long plane ride. She LOVED it. She kept unscrewing and rescrewing the pieces on in different patterns. It was nice that they included two bolts as my younger daughter likes to hold the other…not interested in the act of screwing the pieces on or off yet. I love the fact that it is a larger toy, I thought they would be smaller, but they are a good weight as well and I don’t have to worry about it being a choking hazard for the younger one. The only thing is that I wish it included more pieces to screw on and off. I would definitely buy it again as a present for another child.

HUGE!!! More like building block sized pieces...
WOW despite the other reviews, I thought these would be on the smaller side - a nice travel toy to keep busy while away from home but they may be too big for that. They are much bigger than I thought they would be - they are more like building block sized pieces. Love the toy & very nice quality.
Great toy for little hands and motor skills
Bought this for my 19 month old. I keep them in the car for her to tinker with. They are quite large, so no worries about choking hazards at all. With a baby sister on the way, that was a huge plus. The quality is really impressive and the colors are wonderful. Plus, safe water-based stains make this a reassuring buy. Plan Toys is a great company and we have severals toys from them! I am always impressed by the quality and how they rate superior in safety tests!
Really, really cute toy
I have no idea how my niece will like it (it's a Christmas present), but *I* love it, and so does my father. The toy is incredibly well-made, of ingenious design, and bigger than it appears in the pictures. I can hardly wait to see what my niece does with it. If I can, I will post an update about this product.
Love it, but
My daughter's are 12 months and almost 3 years old. We previously purchased my daughter a workbench type toy but she never seemed interested in it. We purchased this as a travel toy...meaning something to take along on a long plane ride. She LOVED it. She kept unscrewing and rescrewing the pieces on in different patterns. It was nice that they included two bolts as my younger daughter likes to hold the other...not interested in the act of screwing the pieces on or off yet. I love the fact that it is a larger toy, I thought they would be smaller, but they are a good weight as well and I don't have to worry about it being a choking hazard for the younger one. The only thing is that I wish it included more pieces to screw on and off. I would definitely buy it again as a present for another child.
Great eco-friendly toy for fine motor skills
I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday and he likes screwing and unscrewing the pieces into different designs. He especially likes the yellow pieces( his fav. colour). I like that it helps refine fine motor skills of finger dexterity and bilateral coordination. I am glad that is is eco-friendly an child safe. Highly recommend. Fits nice in pocketbook and diaper bag too. Keeps him busy at doctor's office, restaurants, and anywhere else you don't want them wondering around. Plan Toys is one of the few "e-zero" companies.

This product is serving us well! I ordered it on a whim b/c it was at a great price, and the hot summer was looming during some unseasonally hot days in April. My only complaint would be the lack of a pump. I could have sworn the ad mentioned an included pump, but after further review, I must have been seeing things. I went against the manufacturers warnings and used my compressor. Even with a pump, there is no way I would have blown this thing up by hand. Just be mindful of what you are doing if you use a compressor and you’ll be fine.
Enough whinning, let’s talk about the pool! Our daughter is 2 1/2 and loves it. The sprinkler gets to be too much for her, but it is optional, so we just turn it off when she doesn;t like it. She loves to “swim” all around (swimming means crawling on hands and knees!) and the slide is a fun side dish. It is not the main course and I wouldn’t recommend buying it just for that.
As for durability, that remains to be seen. So far so good, and I get a sense it is well made, and the materials feel strong. We had some strong winds the last few days, and the thing got blown around the yard a bit when it was empty. It took the punishment just fine. If it survives the summer, it pays for itself as far as I’m concerned.
For the price, and free shipping, it gets a big thumb’s up from me!

Great, but leaks air.
I LIKE many aspects of this pool:
1. Great SIZE.
2. I love the HEIGHT of the edges: my 20 month old could easily get in and out over it.
3. The SPRINKLER is a cherry on top, really!
4. The TOYS that come with it are great, but the pool itself was so entertaining for my two kids (20mths and 3yrs), that they couldn't care less about them - well, maybe next year, or in the tub during winter months.
A few things I DON'T LIKE:
1. The LEAKING PROBLEM. Since day one it was constatly leaking air. I had to "refresh" it every day in the beginning of the summer, after 2 months I had to do it twice a day (!). I found a tiny puncture and have just sealed it, so I hope this will solve the problem. However, it leaked on day one, when no one even used it. So I'm not sure whether it was a factory problem or mine.
2. I wish the SLIDE was NOT prememently ATTACHED to the little square splash pool area, because cleaning under it to keep the pool from growing bacteria is close to impossible. I'm tempted to cut that non-inflatable strip between the slide and the "wall" to get access. I'll have to figure out if it's going to affect the funtionality of the slide first, though.
waste of money
This pool was great fun for a very short time.. my 1 and 2 year old loved it.. unfortunately it never stayed inflated! We used it maybe 3 times.. such a waste!
Best Kiddie Pool Ever!
This pool is very large for a kids play pool. There is room to "swim" around, but it's still shallow enough for me to feel safe having my little kids in it. The slide is fun if you keep it wet. We rarely use the built in sprinklers around the sides, because my girls don't care for water in their face, but when we do use it, it takes very little water to keep it going. We have horrible water pressure, and it's more than enough to keep them shooting high. We have left our pool inflated for over a month and we have only had to blow in a little extra air twice. We drain the pool and leave it sit in the driveway until we are ready to fill it up again. The toys it comes with are fun and I just can't say enough about the pool as a whole. It's well worth the money. I also LOVE the little section in front of the slide. You can make it really deep (if you plug the drain hole that's in it) or you can make it more shallow than the rest of the pool for an infant. It also protects them from getting splashed so much. One thing though, since it's a more shallow pool, you really need to have it on a level surface to use the entire pool...and I mean level. We used it on uneven ground when we first got it, and it kept part of the pool from having any water in it. I would recommend this to a friend, and I would certainly buy another if anything happened to this one!
Great Purchase
My two year old daughter loves this pool! Like others have commented, the slide does not work so hot, but she still loves to climb up and down it and attempt to slide. It is also a good size for mommy to hang out in and the slide makes for a great lounging spot! When hooking up the hose, the sprinkler system around the pool can really get some height on it. We usually turn the hose on very low and just let the water shoot up a little as opposed to full strength. It takes about 10 minutes to inflate with the pump from our air mattress, but we don't even use the pump to deflate. Once you remove the plugs, it comes down pretty quickly and folds up great. Overall for the price, it has been great purchase. I foresee an entire summer of fun with this pool.

I bought this for my four-year-old for Christmas. He absolutely loves it!!!! And not only does he enjoy it, but so does his nine-year-old brother, his cousins, the neighbor kids and mom and dad! It’s something that can be played by all ages… make up your own rules, your own games. It comes in a nylon carring bag which is really handy. The wooden bases and pegs come apart for easy storage and travel. The brightly colored pieces make it even more appealing.
This wasn’t available for Free Shipping from Amazon when I purchased as it was coming from another seller – Fat Brain, I think. As far as the company I ordered this from…. wow! fast shipping!
